In May 2019, Apple launched its digital wallet solution Apple Pay in Luxembourg. The solution enables users to make in-store, online, and in-app payments. In April 2020, payment and money transfer solution Satispay was launched in Luxembourg. Users can top up their Satispay wallet balance via a linked bank account and use it to conduct online and in-store payments. Meanwhile, Joompay is a Luxembourg-based fund transfer solution launched in November 2020. It allows users to make fund transfers using the recipient’s &Paytag, email address, or mobile phone number. Users can fund their transfers via a linked bank account, debit card, or credit card.
