Summary

Globally, more than 80 refineries witnessed maintenance (planned and unplanned) in Q3 3016, of which more than 65% was planned maintenance and the remaining was unplanned. North America had the highest capacity under both planned and unplanned maintenance globally in the quarter. Among countries, the US, India and Japan had the highest capacity under planned maintenance in the quarter. Technical and operational issues accounted for around 30% of the global unplanned maintenance. Power outage and fire were the other major causes of unplanned maintenance.

Scope

- Analysis of capacity under maintenance for crude distillation, coking, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrocracker, hydrotreater and reformer units
- Comparison of select refinery units under maintenance (planned, unplanned and both) by major regions in the world for Q3 2016 and Q3 2015
- Comparison of select refinery units under maintenance (planned, unplanned and both) by PADD regions in the US for both the quarters
- Comparison of select refinery units under maintenance (planned, unplanned and both) by operators for both the quarters
- Comparison of factors responsible for unplanned maintenance in the world by region for Q3 2016 and Q3 2015

Reasons to buy

- Keep abreast of major refinery units (crude distillation, coking, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrocracker, hydrotreater and reformer) undergoing maintenance across the world
- Obtain information on region-wise maintenance across the world for Q3 2016 in comparison with Q3 2015
- Identify and compare PADD regions and operators with highest maintenance in both the quarters
- Facilitate decision making on the basis of strong refinery maintenance data
- Assess your competitor’s refinery maintenance data
