The financial center of Switzerland is one of the largest in the world and added a value of CHF63 bn (US$64.2 bn), equivalent to 9.1% of GDP in 2018, according to Federal Department of Finance, Switzerland.

Scope

- As per World Bank's logistics performance index (LPI), transport and logistic infrastructure in Switzerland deteriorated over the last two years with a decrease in rank from 11th in 2016 to 13th out of 160 countries in 2018
- The overall SMI index exhibited an upward trend. As of July 22, 2019, the SMI index stood at 9,922.4, compared to 8,991.3 on July 20, 2018
